Actress Olga Kurylenko, who plays Camille in the movie, stepped on stage to help Ford of Europe President and CEO John Fleming launch the new Ka, which is being built in Tychy, Poland in a joint venture with Fiat of Italy. Camille and James Bond get together to fight the bad guys in the film, with a little bit of help from the Ford Ka. Ford Motor Co. CEO Alan Mulally also stepped on stage briefly to wish the venture well.

Mulally is in town to attend the Paris Car Show, which opens to the public on October 4. Press previews take place on October 2 and 3. Ford also managed to arrange a part in a previous Bond movie, Casino Royale, to help the launch of its Mondeo large family car. Ford of Europe has sold more than 1.4 million versions of the Ka since it was introduced 12 years ago. The new version adds a diesel engine to the lineup.
